Pin Trading
Pin trading is back and it’s one of the most exciting parts of Convention! This is your chance to meet new leaders, show off your school pride, and collect some seriously awesome pins along the way. Every trade is a new connection, a new memory, and a new victory. Whether you’re hunting down Executive Board pins, showing off your school’s custom designs, or battling it out in Rock, Paper, Scissors; pin trading keeps the energy high and the vibes unmatched.
Get out there, make some moves, and build the ultimate Convention pin collection!
How to Win Pins:
To collect pins you must challenge anyone who has a pin to a single round of Rock, Paper, Scissors (best 1 of 1. Winner takes all, no do-overs!). You may challenge someone once per passing period and never while they’re presenting or setting up. If you win, you take their pin, if you lose, they take one of yours (if you have one).
Leveling Up:
-
Collect 5 CASC Executive Board pins → You may challenge YOUR District VP. If you lose, they take one of your pins.
-
Collect all CASC Executive Board pins → You may challenge the CASC President. If you lose, the President takes one of your pins.
School Pins (NEW):
Schools are encouraged to get into the fun of trading by creating and bring their own pins to Convention. School pins must be based on their SC/G or mascot to trade with others.

Pep Rally
Pep Rally is an opportunity for the four districts to come together for a series of friendly competitions and get all of the delegates excited for the rest of Convention! Remember to wear your district colors:: North - PURPLE; East - RED; South - GREEN; West - YELLOW.

WORKSHOPS
Workshops
In addition to the general sessions, Convention offers a wide array of 21st Century Skill specific workshops designed to strengthen student and advisor abilities. Delegates will participate in large and small group sessions which will look at topics on:: Citizenship, Training, Recognition, Inspiration, Service, Engagement and Spirit! All designed to help students and advisors learn to communicate clearly, collaborate with others across barriers and in diverse groups, and think creatively and work creatively with others. Each school attending Convention is strongly encouraged to present one workshop. By presenting a workshop, students can share their knowledge and experiences with other students and also improve their own leadership skills.
Please review the Convention Program with your delegates. Delegates must pre register for workshops. Each session runs once and we are capping attendance at 20 delegates per session so please try and spread your delegates out so that they can get as many new ideas as possible for your SC/G.

Any student who does not register for a workshop will be assigned one prior to the start of Convention.
